We modify the surface of quantum dots through ligand exchange and functionalization. This control improves solubility in different solvents, ensures better stability, and provides chemical flexibility for further processing.

Quantum dots with tailored surface chemistry can be processed into thin films and nanostructures using various fabrication techniques. Solution-based methods such photolithography and inkjet printing enable integration into device architectures for photonic and optoelectronic applications.
